I work at a Patient - Hotel at the Medical University Hospital in Lund, Sweden.
My job was one of the reasons for writing my first blogpost.
At this hotel there are 3 kinds of patients.
We have Cancer patients, Kids with serious heart conditions (who needs surgery) and Obstetrical ward where I see tiny little new born aliens (babies) every day!
There are patients that effect my thoughts and my mood for the better every single day, and makes my job worth doing.
Fyi, I clean their rooms, make their beds etc.

Today, one of the cancer patients gave me flowers :)
He said, since I started working there I made his stay a bit more pleasant considering the circumstances, and that I remind him of princess Leia from Star Wars when I braid my hair, haha!
He said, if he could he would ask me to marry him but he doesn't know how much longer he will live. Heart breaking!
I was lost for words, even though he usually doesn't understand a word I say, so I just smiled and said thank you.... :/
Mr.S definitely made my day!!

I call him Mr.S because I don't know his name, I just know it starts with a S.
Mr.S, has leukemia, he is 29 years old and can barley speak english or swedish.
He has been in and out of the hospital for months now, one of my colleagues told me that his been there for a long time even before I started to work there.
Since I started he has checked out twice with 3 days intervals and then he's back. :(
I really hope he gets better...
